Send SMS through Microsoft Outlook 2007 with TextOMS

To send SMS text messages through Outlook 2007, you just need to set-up the Outlook OMS service to send any SMS text messages through the TextOMS Web Service.

Once setup, you then click on the “New Text Message” option, and an email-like form appears. You select recipients from your address books, by clicking on the “To” button, or add mobile numbers directly in to the “To” field.

You then enter the body of the SMS text message, and it also appears on a mock-up of a phone handset in a preview pane. The preview pane enables you to see how many SMS text messages your message will be delivered as. Pressing “Send” will then dispatch the message over a secure link to our SMS gateways for delivery to the selected handsets.

Recipients can reply, should they choose, with messages delivered back to your Outlook 2007 Inbox.
