How can I be alerted when I run low on credits?

You can choose to be alerted when the number of message credits left on your account reaches a given threshold.

The alerting service operates by polling your account every 15 minutes to see if the number of message credits left on your account has dropped below your given threshold.

If the number of credits left on your account has dropped below your given threshold, then an SMS or email alert will be sent to your nominated account contacts. Your nominated contacts will receive one alert per day until the number of credits on your account exceeds the CREDITS LEFT ALERT setting value.

This setting is only appropriate for Pre-Pay accounts.

The Credits Left Alert threshold can be set from the CREDITS LEFT ALERT left-hand menu option of the ADMINISTRATION PANEL.

To set the CREDITS LEFT ALERT, enter the value at which you would like the system to alert you. Once set, you will then need to set who should receive the alerts, and whether the alerts should be in SMS or email form.

To set the alert recipients, click on the ACCOUNT CONTACTS left-hand menu option. Then tick the RECEIVE SMS ALERTS and/or RECEIVE EMAIL ALERTS tick-boxes against the contacts who should receive the alerts.

Please note that if you choose to be alerted by SMS, then any SMS messages sent will be charged to your account.

A setting of 0 (zero) in this field turns off this function, and you will not be alerted when your number of credits reaches 0 (zero).
