Why won’t some of my text messages send?


If you’re having problems sending your text message from TextOnline or TextCampaign, the first thing to check is whether the message has scheduling set-up, and if so that the correct date and time was chosen.

Following this, we suggest you check that your account has enough credits to send the campaign out. If it does not, you will need to purchase some more credits to cover your campaign.

If both of these items are ok, then it may be that the number of recipients your message is being sent to, or the frequency of messages being sent out, that is causing the unforeseen delay. To optimise your message traffic we suggest that recipient lists are no higher than 20,000 to avoid being delayed in the system. If you have more than 20,000 recipients to send your message to it may be to your advantage if you divide the list into blocks and send these blocks at 30-minute intervals. Sending message campaigns out too close together may cause a slight delay whilst the network operators manage their capacity load to accommodate the large number of SMS deliveries.

There are no set-up fees so you will not incur any extra charges for sending out your text campaign in a few blocks.
