Will I be charged for SMS replies from overseas customers?


TextAnywhere clients only pay for the text messages they send out and any additional services such as TextInbound dedicated numbers, the TextAlert service and TextPremium short code services, for example.

We do not charge for any replies that your recipients send back to you, including those from overseas handsets. However, it is worth remembering that there may be a cost to international senders, dependant on their network operator contract and roaming agreement.

For example, to send a reply message from either a French handset or a UK roaming handset in France (which is coming in to one of our UK inbound long numbers), may incur an SMS international or roaming charge. Should the inbound long number be for their specific local country, then the sender’s standard SMS rate would apply.
